Hi students! Are you addicted to Pinterest?  Do you like to paint, draw, do collage and all other things colorful, creative and artsy?  If so, and if you're also willing to help complete some fun, creative group art projects, then our school Safe-School Committee needs you!  Please sign up at the front desk in the office and Mrs. Brophy will contact you with more information!

Reminder we are having the "Escape Poverty Challenge"  this week.  The days are as follows:
Today:  Volunteer Day.  Sigh up to volunteer - bring in a toothbrush for overnight street packages.
Friday:  Go the day without something you use...ie.  Coffee!  Cash donations - to be picked up (loose change).
Donations are to be brought into the office - with the exception of today. We will be competing with 8 other high schools in the city.  We earn "points" by posting pictures of our ACTIONS on FB, Instagram and Twitter with our hashtag #STJ   Ms Frolek says thanks for all of your support in advance!

Reminder - there is a Grade Wars Challenge today for the Poverty Challenge.  The challenge is to donate toothbrushes to benefit Winnipeg’s less fortunate. We’ll be collecting donations by each grade.
Grade 9’s bring their donations to Mr. Halbert’s room 202
Grade 10’s to Ms Tuchscherer’s room 105
Grade 11’s to Ms Kopetsky’s room 208
Grade 12’s to Mr. Sculthorp’s room 102
The grade that brings the most donations will receive a prize.  More details to come.

Youth in Philanthropy will be meeting as per usual today... All committee members are asked to attend... there is a whole lot of stuff that needs planning and arranging!  Get your lunch quick and show up at room 208 - please!

Important reminder to anyone enrolled in the online/outside school Phys Ed program that the health module tests are due BEFORE December 1, so it's important to get working on them as soon as possible. You need to complete all of the tests and get a minimum of 21/30 to pass, and they need to be done this month. Please see Mr. Robson in room 213 if you're having any trouble.

There are still lots of students who have not returned the permission slip required to begin the online Phys. Ed. program. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to get everything done, and you can't count any activity hours until the permission slip is in. See Mr. Robson in room 213 to return your sheet as soon as possible.
