Reminder – this Friday, November 25th is an Inservice day, no classes for students.

There will be a meeting today for Stevenson Mentorship at lunch in room 100.  All participants must attend.

There will be a rehearsal for lead characters in the Musical today at 3:30 in Room 203.

There will be a Girls Basketball tryout today and tomorrow at 3:30 for any girls interested in playing this year. All grades are welcome 9-12. You MUST be at the tryouts if you want to make the team.

You are invited to attend the University of Winnipeg’s Future Student Night.  Join them for an evening of Interactive displays, campus tours and an opportunity to talk with Deans, Professors, current students and staff about your future at the University of Winnipeg.  More information is located on the U of W website.

Anyone interested in helping out once/week  for 30 minutes for an Inclusion Wpg Activity - please see Ms. Frolek.  Helping out costs nothing and feels great!

There will be a bake sale in support of Movember in the front foyer tomorrow and Thursday.  Come buy some food to support men’s health!

There will be an emergency Stevenson Mentorship meeting today at 12:03 in room 100.  All Stevenson Mentorship participants must attend.

There will be a Social Justice meeting today at lunch in room 105.  If you are looking to join a club, come out and join us!  Our next project is called, "WE Bake for GOATS"!

Come out and cheer on your JV Boys Basketball team tonight at 5:30 as they play their 1st game of the season.  Players must be dressed and ready to go at 5:15.

There will be a Girls Basketball tryout next Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:30 for any girls interested in playing this year. All grades are welcome 9-12. You MUST be at the tryouts if you want to make the team.

School clothing orders need to be into Mr. Connolly today.

The schedule is as follows for the JV Boys Basketball team:
Today - practice at 5:30 in GWMS

All Varsity Girls Volleyball players need to bring their washed jerseys to the gym TODAY at lunch for their team picture.

Attention Grads who ordered from Mom’s Pantry, the goods will be delivered on today after school.  Please make sure you come to pick up your stuff.

WE Day is tomorrow.  Students that are attending We Day tomorrow are to report to their period 1 class and then will be called down to the cafeteria.  Do not forget a bagged lunch as buying lunch at the MTS centre will be nearly impossible due to the number of people there and on a short time for lunch.

Indoor soccer semi finals start today. First place Fake Madrid will play fourth place Dribble Fo' Shizzle at 12:25 sharp. The second semi final will be on Friday (tomorrow) at 12:25 with second place Kicking and Screaming playing third place Strikers FC. The winners of both games will then play in the finals on Tuesday next week.

Hi students! Are you addicted to Pinterest?  Do you like to paint, draw, do collage and all other things colorful, creative and artsy?  If so, and if you're also willing to help complete some fun, creative group art projects, then our school Safe-School Committee needs you!  Please sign up at the front desk in the office and Mrs. Brophy will contact you with more information!

Youth in Philanthropy will be meeting as per usual today... All committee members are asked to attend... there is a whole lot of stuff that needs planning and arranging!  Get your lunch quick and show up at room 208 - please! 

Important reminder to anyone enrolled in the online/outside school Phys Ed program that the health module tests are due BEFORE December 1, so it's important to get working on them as soon as possible. You need to complete all of the tests and get a minimum of 21/30 to pass, and they need to be done this month. Please see Mr. Robson in room 213 if you're having any trouble.

There are still lots of students who have not returned the permission slip required to begin the online Phys. Ed. program. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to get everything done, and you can't count any activity hours until the permission slip is in. See Mr. Robson in room 213 to return your sheet as soon as possible.

There will be an Indigenous Student Group meeting today at 11:45 in room 202.  Desiree will be here from the University of Manitoba and we will be discussing upcoming events... All Indigenous students are welcome to attend! 

D.I.C.E. Club - will be happening again today at 1:15 in room 208.  Students who participated in the last George Waters mentorship/art day in the Library are asked to come to come to room 208 at the beginning of period 5.
