Tier 1 JV
Boys meet in Mr.Boville's room at 12:03 to figure out rides to the game today.
Congratulations
goes out to the Tier 2 JV Boys for a hard fought game against St. Maurice last
night. Daniel Lajoie and Ryan Furutani
led the way in scoring with 12 a piece and Kevin Grier Bruce and Tanner
Macallen were beasts on the boards each racking up double digit rebounds. Good
job boys.
Who is
Jimmie? You get to decide. Pick up a submission sheet from the office
before Dec. 18 and submit your idea for St. James Collegiate’s FIRST
mascot. Don’t miss this great
opportunity.
The food
drive is being held this week and part of next week (Dec. 9-15). Bring your food donations to your colour wars
classrooms. These will be pointed out
through posters saying your “zone”. The
colour group with the heaviest donations win.
All donations will go to Sam’s Christmas. Please support families in the St. James
neighbourhood!

This week schools around the
world are participating in an event called The Hour of Code, where students are
exposed to basic computer programming and coding. The job market for people
with coding & programming skills is growing every year, and there are
nowhere near enough people with the skills to fill the positions. This week, we
encourage you to check out code.org on your own, ask your teacher to get involved,
or drop by room 213 at lunch to try out some fun activities!
