The
Canadian Armed Forces will be setting up a Career Information Booth over the
lunch hour on Tuesday, February 16th outside the cafeteria. If you'd like to learn more about careers and
post secondary study options available through the Canadian Armed Forces,
please stop by, check out the display and ask lots of questions.
Attention
all grade 11 and 12 students! It's that
time of year, when the universities and colleges have their Open Houses and you
and your parents are invited to attend.
This is an opportunity to visit the campuses, ask more questions about
their programs; meet the professors and maybe even win prizes! Red River
College's Open House is February
16th and 17th; The University of Winnipeg's Open house is on February 17th; and the University of Manitoba's Info Days are on February 17th &
18th. If all this information is too
many dates to remember- please be sure to pick up a Post Secondary Information
sheet at the main office. Please see
Mrs. Brophy if you have any questions.

Yoga Club - Sunday Feb 21st: Are you
interested in trying yoga in a nice hot room on a Sunday afternoon? Hot Hatha
at Moksha Yoga is a restorative practice that relaxes your mind and restores
your body. The yoga class is at 2:00 pm and if you are interested in joining us
we will be offering pick ups at Tim Horton's across the street from the school
and in the Brooklands area. Sign up sheet is in the office or see Ms Doyle or
Ms Frolek for more information.
Registration
forms for the Manitoba Ball Hockey League starting in April are in the office
now.

secondary information at lunch - Room 208 - 12:00 p.m.
Thursday,
Feb. 11th - Sweat Lodge Field Trip. Pick
up your field trip forms and get them handed back to Ms. Kopetsky in Room 208
by Wednesday at noon!
Blood Bus
Time again! The first Blood Bus of 2016 is on Monday, February 22 in the
