Today – Two Tacos your choice Chicken or Beef, Lemon Chicken Rice Soup
Wednesday – Hog Dog day, Gypsy Soup
Thursday – Chili and Garlic bread, Deluxe Potato Soup
Friday – Pizza Day, Broccoli Cheddar Soup

This week is Spirit Week.  Activities, etc. are as follows:
Today – Twin Day – 3 legged race at lunch (weather permitting).
Wednesday – Hat Hair Day (wear a crazy hat or do a fun hairstyle, or both), Video games in a room to be announced at lunch.
Thursday – Throwback Thursday (dress up/anything from the past), Bingo in room 105 at lunch.
Friday – Halloween Dance in the afternoon.  Dress up in your favourite costume.  There will also be a haunted house during the dance.

Have you ever wanted to know your blood type? Canadian Blood Services will be here Tuesday, November 3rd doing typing for the school. If you are under 17 and would like your blood typed, please see Mrs. Connor in room 209.

Varsity Boy’s basketball meeting/ tryout info is today at 12:00 in the gym.

Last year's yearbooks are available for pickup now! If you purchased a book already, please see Mr. Robson in room 213 AT LUNCH in order to pick yours up. You can still buy a copy of last year's or this year's yearbook in the office.

Previous Announcements:

A reminder to grade 11 and 12 students that the University of Manitoba is hosting their annual Evening of Excellence for grade 11 and 12 students and their parents tonight from 6:00-9:00 PM.   Families can attend presentations, mini-campus tours, and enter a draw to win one of two $1,000 tuition prizes to be put towards 2016-17 University of Manitoba tuition fees.  Pick up an information sheet at the office and register on line to attend.  
Any student - International, newcomer or anyone who speaks a second language AND is interested in challenging their first language for up to FOUR credits, please see Ms. Frolek for details!


This is a reminder to all EAL students - students who are new to the country - that the NEEDS centre will be here Wednesday (tomorrow) at lunch in Mr. Halbert's room to help students fill in their application form for the Employment Program.
