Picture retake day is this Thursday, November 5^th,  that’s Thursday – tomorrow -  not Friday this week,  in the morning.   If you wish to have a retake on your paid photo package you must return your photos to the photographer on retake day.  If you have lost your student ID card and would like a new student ID card the cost is 5.00 payable to the photographer.

If you were one of the people who filled out a WE Day application, check out the list of people going, which is posted outside of Mr. Connolly's room (111).  If your name is on the list please see Mr. Connolly for a field trip form.  WE Day is Monday November 16th.

Attention International Students:  The International Student Program will be attending a Manitoba Moose hockey game on November 20th.  Tickets are $15.  Please see Mr. Halbert before the end of the day today if you would like to buy a ticket.

The St. James-Assiniboia Public Library at 1910 Portage Ave. has a great program starting soon.  All library programs are free to attend, and all crafting materials are supplied, but registration is required.   Come to our jewelry making workshop and learn how to be your own designer. We’ll take you through all the best how-to books and show you great techniques for putting together your own accessories. Take home your own creation!

Grade 12 students! You need a Phys. Ed. Credit to graduate! Better get started on it! If you have not done so already, see Mr. Robson in room 213 ASAP to get going. If you have begun, your health module tests are due before December 1. Get crackin’!

There is an important Post Secondary presentation by Red River College in the band room tomorrow (Thursday) morning during period 2.  All grade 10s are required to attend this presentation.  Any grade 11 or 12 students who did not see the presentation in a previous year and would like to participate are asked to speak to their period 2 teacher.  Grade 11 and 12 students with specific questions about Red River Collage are invited to meet with the presenter at the end of period 2 outside the band room.

All University- Bound grade 12 students are invited to attend the University Fair at Sturgeon Heights this Thursday PM 1:30 to 3:15.  A  field trip permission form is required to attend this event and must be handed in to the office by the end of the day on Wednesday.  There are also two evening events available for students and their parents on Wed and Thurs evening of this week.  Information and field trip permission forms are available in the office .

 JV Boys basketball tryouts continue today at 3:30.  There will also be practices for the Tier 1 JV boys on Thursday and Friday at 3:30.

Tier 2 boys stay posted your practices will start soon.

Attention Grads:  Josten Rings will be here today to sell grad rings and grad tags.  Catalogues can be picked up in the office.  Design your own ring.

Attention all Grads - There will be a Grad meeting today at lunch in 12:05.  Please attend.

Last year's yearbooks are available for pickup now! If you purchased a book already, please see Mr. Robson in room 213 AT LUNCH in order to pick yours up. You can still buy a copy of last year's or this year's yearbook in the office.
