There will be NO late start Tuesdays for the month of January.
Tier 1 JV Boys practice today is at 12:30. You MUST be there and the boys home game
today is at 6:15 against Tec Voc.
There is a change to the Tier 2 JV Boys schedule - you practice today
at 6:00 pm in GWMS and Wednesday at 5:30 in GWMS.
Jimmies Space Program is recruiting!!! Any interested students are
welcome to come to Ms Werner's room (211) this Wednesday (tomorrow) at lunch
and find out how you can be a part of sending something to space!!! There are a
variety of positions for students from any grade, and with all different types
of skills. Come check it out!
The ECO EDGE Program will be here next Monday, Jan. 18th to share
information for students interested in learning more about your Indigenous
Culture and Tradition. They will be set
up outside the Cafeteria. It's a great
opportunity - stop by their table to find out more information.
Today at lunch on Jimmie Jam Radio, DJ Old’s Cool presents a tribute to
David Bowie, featuring special guests, stories, and lots of great music! Tune

Attention
all Indigenous students and allies... Chris Lagimodiere from the U. of M. will
be here on Wednesday at 11:50 a.m. in Mr. Halbert's room 202... We look forward

The
St. James Varsity Boys are playing the Winnipeg Invitational Tournament this week
at Tec Voc. This is one of the most prestigous tournaments in Winnipeg.
Tournament passes are normally $7, but if you buy a pass from Mr. Kangas today it
will be only $5. The Varsity Boys play Sisler on Wed (tomorrow) at 6:30. Hope
to see you all there.
If
you are considering post-secondary, you do not want to miss this information
session at Red River. Learn about full
time programs, the admissions process and the various support services that are
available. There is something for
everyone at Red River College. The
session will be held this Wednesday from 6-7 pm in the Green Lecture Theatre
(GM43) Notre Dame Campus. This is the
same presentation that is delivered to high schools and adult learning centres
but this is an opportunity for students who have missed these opportunities to
attend. Parents and family members are
welcome and encouraged to attend.
