Cafeteria Specials for the week of Oct. 24 - 28
Today – Carrot ginger soup, Perogies served with bacon, onion & sour cream
Tuesday – Tomato dill soup, Tuna salad on 12 grain
Wednesday – Thai coconut pumpkin soup, baked chicken fingers served with your choice of fries or Caesar salad & our own honey dill sauce
Thursday – Country mushroom soup, Baked Penne pasta with sausage, served with garlic toast
Friday – Broccoli cheddar soup, Pizza day.
Reminder to students to see Mr. Robson in room 213 at lunch time to pick up your yearbook from last year, if you ordered one.
Picture retakes will be done on November 4th. Picture order forms are available from the office. A reminder that the order forms must be filled out ahead of time, with the money enclosed. Completed order forms are to be given to the photographer on picture day. The order forms with money does not come to the school office.
Hey Grade 9 students! This important message is for you! Take Our Kids To Work Day is Wednesday, November 2, 2016. This is a day that your parents can give you permission to help prepare for your future, by inviting you to join either themselves, a relative, or family friend at work for a day! Permission forms will go home to all grade 9 students today with extra copies available for pick up at the main office. Please return completed forms to your English teacher, the main office, or Mrs. Brophy by the end of today.
Just a reminder that there will a Social Justice meeting in room 105 today to make posters to get ready for the "Escape Poverty Challenge".
If you are a grade 12 student, interested in attending the University of Manitoba - they are holding an "Evening of Excellence" for new students on Tuesday, October 25th (tomorrow) at 6pm. See Ms. Frolek for details and check out the SJCI blog for more dates regarding post-secondary presentations.

JV Boys Basketball practices are today and tomorrow at 5:30pm.
Congratulations to the boys Volleyball team for finishing 3rd in our own tournament this past Saturday. Great job guys!
All Grads who wish to participate in the bake sale tomorrow, please go to room 102 at lunch for a quick meeting.
If you have signed up for the Musical, auditions will be after school in room 203. Audition times will be posted on door!

Attention Varsity Girls Volleyball players...No practice tonight. Practice tomorrow is canceled. Next game at St Mary's at 4:30 on Wednesday.
