Today – Thai coconut pumpkin soup, baked chicken fingers served with your choice of fries or Caesar salad & our own honey dill sauce

Thursday – Country mushroom soup, Baked Penne pasta with sausage, served with garlic toast

Friday – Broccoli cheddar soup, Pizza day.

World Lit has been transformed into World Culture Club this year.  Today at noon we will be meeting in Room 208 - Ms. Kopetsky's room to discuss favourite artists from our respective countries.  Everyone is welcome to join us in this cultural exchange. 

Reminder to students who signed up for the blood bus to meet in front of the office today at 12:50.  Make sure you have your id.

Reminder to students to see Mr. Robson in room 213 at lunch time to pick up your yearbook from last year, if you ordered one.

Picture retakes will be done on November 4^th.  Picture order forms are available from the office. A reminder that the order forms must be filled out ahead of time, with the money enclosed.  Completed order forms are to be given to the photographer on picture day.  The order forms with money do not come to the school office.

Attention St. James – Halloween is right around the corner.  This year Student Council will be hosting a Halloween themed movie afternoon on Monday, October 31^st.  We will be showing three different Halloween movies in three different locations.  Ghostbusters will be showing in the library, Insidious will be showing in the high school gym, and Psycho will be showing in the Theatre.  There will be snacks and candy available in all three locations.  There are sign up sheets posted outside each location.  Students are expected to sign up for the movie of their choice by the end of this week.  Rooms 103 and 200 will be open for students who would rather complete school work than watch a movie.  Students will report to their regular period five classes for attendance and will be called down to attend their chosen movie.  Students will also be expected to report to period six classes for attendance at the end of the movie.  As part of the Halloween festivities, Monday will be our kick-off day for Spirit week.  A reminder to students that NO CLOWN costumes will be permitted at school this year.  We’re looking forward to this year’s rendition of Halloween at SJCI!

Attention all Varsity Girls Volleyball players...team meeting in Mr.  Hayward’s room (205) at 12:03 today.

Indoor Soccer Intramural Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the High School gym. Anyone interested in playing MUST sign up. Sign up is for all individuals in grades 9-12.

Attention all Band Students:  there will be a practice for percussionists today at 12:15 in the Band room.  Bring your lunch.

The Grad clothing sizes are in.  Please see Ms Mitchell to find your size.  A reminder that the online store will close on November 1^st, so get your order in ASAP.
